Description
HDO® is a linear, bifunctional, primary alcohol. It is a white waxy solid atroom temperature and a clear liquid at temperatures above its melting range.
Safety
HDO is not irritating to the skin, but may be irritating to the mucous membranes and respiratory tract. Thermal
protection is required when handling molten HDO: face shield, appropriate gloves, and full acid suit are recommended to prevent thermal burns. Splash goggles and NIOSH approved respirators are also recommended for protection from vapor or dust. Always refer to the Material Safety.Data Sheet (MSDS) for detailed information on safety.
